The Desilets Philanthropies Fund

The Desilets family supports causes through The Desilets Philanthropies Fund.  Giving is done as a family activity that reflects the diverse philanthropic interests of Desilets family members.  

The Desilets family is committed to supporting charitable causes both domestic and abroad to include medical relief, veteran support, animals, and community enrichment.

Charitable Causes

Convoy of Hope is an American faith-based nonprofit organization that provides food, supplies, and humanitarian services to impoverished or otherwise needy populations throughout the world. The organization also engages in disaster relief work.

Our mission is to provide lifesaving medical care to those most in need. All MSF members agree to honor the following principles: MSF provides assistance to populations in distress, to victims of natural or man-made disasters, and to victims of armed conflict.

The Red Cross, born of a desire to bring assistance without discrimination to the wounded on the battlefield, endeavors—in its international and national capacity—to prevent and alleviate human suffering wherever it may be found. Its purpose is to protect life and health and to ensure respect for the human being.

Rotary International is an international service organization whose stated purpose is to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian service and to advance goodwill and peace around the world.

The American Veteran Mission is to partner with and assist veterans, small businesses, and grant-giving entities in promoting philanthropy, community service, volunteerism, and equal educational opportunities.

Founded in 1966, The Hundred Club has provided over $4 Million in scholarships to the dependent widows & children of New Hampshire law enforcement officer and firefighters who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals was founded on the belief that animals are entitled to kind and respectful treatment at the hands of humans and must be protected under the law.

Windham's Helping Hands is a non-profit organization designed to lend a hand to the Windham, NH community.  They help families in need and senior citizens.

The mission of Children of the Fallen Patriots is to provide college scholarships and educational counseling to military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty. 

Project Blackout Pediatric Cancer is a 501(c) nonprofit organization on a mission to turn out the lights on pediatric cancer. Dedicated to uniting local towns and schools to help children diagnosed with cancer, Project Blackout aims to educate communities, raise funds for research and support those affected by pediatric cancer.

Sophia's Fund is dedicated to helping families in their crusade against cancer; either financially or otherwise. Assisting with life changes; raising awareness to gain greater support in the local and national communities; and ultimately striving to allow families to focus their energy on the battle.

As New Hampshire's only children's hospital, the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock (CHaD) provides an extended system of care that offers advanced pediatric services. CHaD is recognized by the Children's Hospital Association as a “children's hospital within a hospital”.

The Griffin Museum of Photography is a nonprofit organization dedicated solely to the art of photography. Through their many exhibitions, programs and lectures, they strive to encourage a broader understanding and appreciation of the visual, emotional and social impact of photographic art.

The Signatry believes generosity is the heart of the gospel and generous lives reflect the image of God.

GiveIndia exists to alleviate poverty by enabling the world to give. Established in 2000, they are the largest and the most trusted giving platform in India today.

The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation is New Hampshire’s statewide community foundation, founded in 1962 by and for the people of New Hampshire. They manage a growing collection of more than 2,000 funds created by generous individuals, families and businesses, and award more than $54 million in grants and scholarships every year.
